Clinical Audiologist

  • Performing, interpreting, and reports for Vestibular testing: rotational chair, VNG (open and closed loop), Epley Chair, cVEMP and oVEMP testing, vHIT exam, and Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP)
  • Audiograms, quickSIN, immittance testing, hearing aid fittings (Speech mapping with Audioscan Verifit) and repair.
  • Advanced Vestibular Treatment to resolve vestibulopathies with VR goggles, Bertec, and Virtualis system.
  • Managed and reviewed colleagues and local students from CSU Northridge.
  • Performed inservices with Pediatricians for best practices as well as difficult cases with the Otolaryngologists and Neurotologists.
  • Organized daily schedules, created special protocols and scheduling for county wide Trisomy 21 study.
  • Ran monthly audiology meeting and organized inservices for vestibular assessments.
  • Initiated newborn hearing screenings and protocols creating and deploying CEU events for Southern California area.
  • Improved patient access in Orange County from 30th percentile to 80th percentile in 3 months while revising schedule.
  • Clinical responsibilities include VNG / ENG, EnoG, vHIT, canalith repositioning, comprehensive audiometry, immittance audiometry, quickSIN, pediatric testing, adult ABR for site of lesion and pediatric BAER and DPOAEs testing.
  • Managed daily schedule including inter-operative testing of the 7th or 8th
    nerves.
  • Assessed VNG/ ENG, site of lesion and threshold ABR, comprehensive audiometry, canalith repositioning, minimal calorics, EnoG, and HINT.
